Here you will find evidence-based teaching resources about food, healthy eating, food skill development, food safety, food relationships and food environments for children and youth aged 4 to 18 years. FANLit resources have been developed by K-12 teachers, university students and researchers, and community-based educators.
The lesson plans, appendices, and other tools are organized by age group and topic. Age groups are broad, and teachers can decide which lessons are appropriate for their learners. Lesson plans are not grouped into specific units - you can use one or several to support your teaching goals.
